TRM is looking for a Site Acquisition Project Manager to lead multiple fast paced telecommunication projects in the New England market.

Location:  Foxboro, MA

The Site Acquisition Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of site acquisition agents who identify, lease, and permit wireless telecommunications sites. Project Management includes forecasting, budgeting, managing project milestones; working knowledge of lease language and municipal regulatory requirements; and excellent communication skills presenting data and forecasts accurately and timely to clients.

Ideally this candidate should have several years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry and have the ability to support complex, multi-dimensional design-and-build implementations across a broad range of communications platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the project teams keep customers informed of project progress, issues and projected completion dates.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with each customer’s decision- makers in order to maximize new opportunities and revenue.
  • Manage/monitor the completion of Zoning and Permit applications for submittal to jurisdictions and coordinate the zoning process with outside counsel and vendors.
  • Ensure deployment and client meetings are held regularly and issues/conflicts are resolved promptly.
  • Manage project finances through forecasting of revenue and project deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of customer contracts and customer expectations.
  • Monitor project status and ensure that system data are accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Responsible for ensuring all costs and time-frames are managed to the approved budgets/forecasts and any deviations therefrom are communicated and approved as soon as discovered
  • Communicate directly with customers as appropriate acting as the escalation point for customer issues.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Three + years of wireless project management experience
  • Thorough understanding of real estate laws, terms, definitions and legal documents necessary to secure a client’s real property interests for the purposes of installing a Communication Facility
